SRILANKA TOUR. Our overall experience in Sri Lanka was underwhelming, largely due to substandard accommodations and a few tourist traps. While our driver was excellent—courteous, patient, and knowledgeable—the rest of the logistics fell short. Arrival Scam: I was scammed at the airport regarding an eSIM; I paid for the service, but the QR code was never sent to my email. Substandard Housing: Most properties marketed as "3-star" did not meet Indian 3-star standards. Specifically, Lily's Resort (Habarana), the resort at Yala, and the property in Mirissa were outdated and poorly maintained. The Nuwara Eliya & Hush Lagoon Disasters: The last-minute hotel change in Nuwara Eliya resulted in a hopeless room and terrible food. Most shockingly, the stay at Hush Lagoon was unacceptable—the room felt more like driver’s quarters than guest accommodation. The Spice Garden: This felt like a scam. Compared to the elaborate spice gardens in Idukki, Kerala, this visit was ill-planned and lacked genuine variety or explanation. Highlights: The stay at Ceyloni Hotel in Kandy was the only accommodation that met expectations. Our driver was the saving grace of the entire trip.

I went to Kashmir last week and booked a holiday package from View Holiday Trip helped by Udit. Overall it was a very good experience. Vaishali was always in touch and very helpful from View Holiday Trip during the trip. The Hotel was good and the staff behaviour was really polite. The best person was the Driver Naveed who guided me throughout the trip and even helped me in booking my Gondola rides and etc. Overall it was a very good experience and I strongly recommend View Holiday Trip for your travel booking.
